THE MOVE ORGANIZATION is calling on all of our friends ,supporters , and sympathizers to join us on Saturday March 26th 2016 for a very special tribute for The Move 9 Sisters .
As we prepare for The upcoming May 2016 parole hearings for Janet , Janine , and Debbie Africa we not only encourage the push for parole for our sisters but we want to celebrate the work and sacrifices they have made during their 38 years of unjust imprisonment . We will also celebrate the life and work of our Sister The Late Merle Africa who died under mysterious circumstances in march 1998 at The State Correctional Institution in Cambridge Springs Pennsylvania after serving twenty years unjustly imprisoned .
